2022-08-06We don't meet people by accident. They're meant to cross our path for a reason. If a relationship doesn't survive the test of time, it doesn't mean it still wasn't meant to be. Not all encounters with people are meant to last forever. Sometime people are in our lives to teach us something. Sometimes the "forever" is not the person, but what we gain from them. I gained so many lessons late in life as we traveled back and forth from your doctor appointments. The strength you showed as you fought challenge after challenge. Always looking forward to tomorrow. Know that I miss your friendship greatly and these last 15 years of our reuniting in Georgia was a blessing for me. RIP "Big Bob", God's got you.
tribute by James GarnerRobert, this is the last photo you'd submitted to our classmates page, showing you just prior to receiving your Heavenly wings. So, REST IN POWER dear classmate.
tribute by Christine Hinton-LeeThe last time I saw you was at one of our luncheons in Atlanta with the GREATTs (Greenwood Retirees Eating-out And Talkin' Trash). Over the past several years, you have been good about touching base in an occasional email to inquire about my well-being, and for that I will be eternally grateful. I will continue to pray for Ja, and the rest of your family and I know that you are in a better place watching over all of us. So Rest In Power, classmate and fellow GREATT!
