On a fall day in October Jessie Larry and Rose Ella Haymon added another addition to their family, a baby boy J.D. Haymon born October 5, 1947.

J.D. Haymon formed a spiritual relationship with God at an early age. He constantly strived to increase his biblical knowledge, ethics, and moral values that pleased God.

J.D. received his elementary and secondary education from Broad Street and Threadgill Schools in Greenwood, Mississippi. He also studied Sociology at Coahoma Jr College, and Kennedy King Community College.

In 1971 J.D. joined the U.S. Army in which he received honorary ranks and accomplishments. He was a former teacher with Chicago of Education, Former Case Manager IV at Illinois Department of Public Assistance-AFDC-AABD C/W IV. J.D. also received his cosmetologist license, was a master barber, and the Jerry Curl King in Greenwood, MS.

J.D. was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Larry and RoseElla Haymon Larry, Sisters: Jessie Mae Larry House, Sally Larry, Brothers: Curtis Larry, Eddie James Larry, Darrell Larry, J.T. Haymon, and Martin Larry.

Left to cherish his memories is wife, Tracy Haymon of Jackson,
MS, Daughter: Rena (Michael) Golden of Greenwood, MS, Two Sons: Otis (Rubie) Harvey of Flint, MI and Jaden Jerry Deneon Carradine of Greenwood, MS., Four sisters: Rev. Dr. Georgia (Bishop Johnny) Clophus of Sulfur, La., Valtine Kinermon of California, Lou Alice Bolden and Shirley Ann Wright of Greenwood, MS. Three brothers: Milton Larry of Greenwood, MS., Kenneth Larry of Kalamazoo, MI, Rev. Dr. Anthony Larry of Cleveland, MS. Six grandchildren, Two great-great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

JD, when we were in high school, I remember the free haircuts you gave to our young men, when the parents weren't able to pay you. Thank you for your generosity and humility. I'm sure you're receiving your reward in the throng room of God. Rest in Peace my brother!
